Excellence in Teaching Award

Dr. Prasad received the Excellence in Teaching Award during Honors Day, May 8, 1998.

The features of this award are:

• The awardees are nominated by students.

• Only four such awards are made per year across the entire university faculty.

• A faculty may be nominated for this award only once every eight years.

• An 8 by 10 inch photograph of the awardee is displayed on the "Wall of Fame" in Morris Library.

• Cash prize of $2500.
