The Mechanical Engineering Department main office is located in 126 Spencer Laboratory, which is on Academy Street near the intersection with Delaware Avenue.

• From Interstate 95 going North - Take the last exit in Maryland (Exit #109 B) (Elkton Way). Head north on Elkton Way for about 4 miles into Newark until it makes a sharp right turn, at which point it becomes Delaware Avenue. Continue a few blocks and make a right onto Academy Street. The first driveway on the right is for Spencer Laboratory deliveries and drop-offs. Visitor Parking is 200 yards further down Academy St., past the stop sign, on the left.

• From Interstate 95 going South - Take the route 896 North,get off-ramp (Exit #1B). Continue on 896 N. At Route #4, 896 turns left, but continue straight (the road is now College Avenue). At Park Avenue, turn right (heading east) and make a left at the next opportunity onto Academy St. Visitor Parking is on the right after about 1/4 mile. Spencer Laboratory is another 200 yards further north on the left. The driveway just north of the building should be used for drop-off and deliveries.
